Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the events platform and services provided at conjunction.co (the "Service"), operated by Conjunction Inc. ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
Conjunction is a platform that connects people through curated in-person events and experiences. We provide technology and tools for event discovery, registration, ticketing, and community building around real-life connections.
Events listed on Conjunction may be organized by us directly or by third-party event hosts. For events we organize, we are responsible for event planning and execution. For third-party hosted events, we serve as a technology platform and are not responsible for:
Registration: When you register for an event, you agree to provide accurate personal information, attend the event or notify the host of cancellation, comply with event-specific rules and codes of conduct, and present valid identification when required.
Payment and Refunds: All ticket sales are processed through our secure payment partner, Stripe. Ticket prices are clearly displayed before purchase. All sales are final unless we state otherwise in writing. If an event is postponed or canceled, we may issue refunds, credits, or offer alternative arrangements at our discretion.
Ticket Transfer: Tickets are non‑transferable without prior approval. We may provide official transfer mechanisms for certain events.
At all events, attendees must:
Violation of conduct rules will result in removal without refund and may result in banning from future events. You are responsible for your belongings. Do not leave items unattended.
Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. For select events, the venue address is confidential and will be sent to ticket holders shortly before the event. You agree to receive transactional communications (email/SMS) with essential logistics. Marketing communications are optional and may be opted out at any time.
By attending events, you consent to being photographed and recorded. You grant Conjunction and its partners a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use your likeness in photos, audio, and video taken at the event for promotional or other business purposes, without further consent or compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform event staff.
You may post, share, or upload content including photos, comments, and profile information. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, harass other users, post inappropriate content, or violate any event-specific rules.
The Service and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Conjunction or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Conjunction name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Conjunction, Inc. You may not use our trademarks without our express written permission.
Our Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe for payment processing, Airtable for data management, SimpleTexting for SMS communications, QRTiger for QR code generation, and Zapier for workflow automation. These services have their own terms and privacy policies.
You understand that attending events involves inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all risks and release Conjunction, its officers, employees, contractors, agents, and venue partners from any liability for injury, illness, property damage, or loss arising from your attendance or participation.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONJUNCTION'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR TICKET.
You agree to indemnify and hold Conjunction harmless from claims arising out of your actions, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third‑party rights.
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, public health orders, strikes, or venue issues.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by California law without regard to conflict of law provisions. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. Any claims must be filed within one year of the events giving rise to the claim.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through email notification to registered users and prominent notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
